GT 6th in ESPN preseason ACC Power Rankings

Heather Dinich has put the defending ACC Champions 6th in the preseason power rankings behind in order: Virginia Tech, Florida State, North Carolina, Miami, and Boston College. My take, the Jackets should be sitting 3rd or 4th. I don't believe the players leaving will leaves as big of holes as others are predicting primarily because it is the Quarterback who runs this offense. Nesbitt should be even better and with his outstanding leadership, as well as the fact the Jackets have more depth at running back than the US Military has ammunition. I am confident Stephen Hill will bulk up and take Bey-Bey's place, and the Defense will benefit from switching to a 3-4 scheme. I believe it to be entirely possible if not likely for Tech to be 8-0 heading into Blacksburg to play the Hokies.
